AI Website Builder π€
Build your website by just talking to AI in your own language β no coding required!
π― What is this?
This is a website template that lets you build and update your site by having conversations with AI assistants. Just describe what you want in your own language, and watch your website come to life!
Choose Your AI Assistant:
- Claude Code - AI coding agent by Anthropic
- OpenAI Codex CLI - AI coding agent by OpenAI
- Google Gemini CLI - AI coding agent by Google (FREE tier available!)
All understand natural language and can build your website β pick any one!
Perfect for:
- Small business owners who need a professional website
- Freelancers building their portfolio
- Anyone who wants a website without learning to code
- People who think in ideas, not in HTML
β¨ What Can You Build?
Just tell your AI assistant what you want:
- "I need a website for my coffee shop"
- "Add photos of our menu items"
- "Make it easy for people to find our location"
- "I want customers to book tables online"
- "Make it look warm and inviting"
Your AI understands and does the technical work for you!
π Getting Started (It's Really Simple!)
π§ Easiest Way: Install the Skill
If you already use Claude Code, Codex CLI, Gemini CLI, Cursor, VS Code Copilot, or any AI coding tool β just install the skill. No cloning, no setup scripts. One command and your AI knows how to build websites.
One-line install β installs automatically to ~/.claude/skills/ai-website-builder/, and also to ~/.agents/skills/ai-website-builder/ if that folder already exists (Codex CLI, Cursor, Copilot, etc.):
curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/builtbyV/ai-website-builder/main/skill/install.sh | bash
Using a different tool? Create the skills dir first so the installer picks it up, then re-run the command:
| Tool | Skills dir to create |
|---|---|
| Codex CLI / Cursor / Copilot | mkdir -p ~/.agents/skills |
| Gemini CLI | mkdir -p ~/.gemini/skills then mv ~/.claude/skills/ai-website-builder ~/.gemini/skills/ |
| Project-local (any tool) | Copy ~/.claude/skills/ai-website-builder into .claude/skills/, .agents/skills/, or .cursor/skills/ inside your project |
Using Claude Desktop or Claude.ai instead? Upload as a ZIP:
- Download ai-website-builder-skill.zip
- In Claude.ai β Customize β Skills β + β Upload a skill
- Select the ZIP and toggle it on
The skill is fully self-contained β it includes the starter template, publish scripts, style guides, and all the instructions your AI needs to build websites.
