HABITUARY

A desktop app for managing to-dos. Losely inspired by TeuxDeux, but free, open source and made with Godot.

Features

  • cross-platform (Windows, Linux, Mac OS)
  • all data is stored as human-readable plain text
  • four view modes: 1 day, 3 days, 5 days & 7 days
  • move to-dos between days via simple drag & drop
  • mark a to-do as a "Heading" to create (foldable) groups
  • bookmark important to-dos for easy access from anywhere
  • use the calendar widget to easily switch to far away dates
  • responsive UI that adapts to the current window size
  • switch between a dark & light color theme anytime

Installation

[!WARNING]
This software is still under development and in alpha state.

[!CAUTION] If you plan on giving it a try, please make backups beforehand!

For now, you have to clone this repository, open the project in Godot and manually export it for your operating system(s) of choice. If you don't know how to do that, this very likely means that you shouldn't use Habituary in its current state, sorry!

Once Habituary reaches a more stable state, there will be proper releases available for download here.

Documentation

While inside the app, press F1 to show the help panel with an overview of available keyboard shortcuts.

Once Habituary reaches a more stable state, the available documentation will be extended.
