Installation
To install Orbit Council, follow these simple steps:
- Clone the
clientrepository usinggit clone https://github.com/shohan-pherones/orbit-council-client.git - Clone the
serverrepository usinggit https://github.com/shohan-pherones/orbit-council-server.git - Install the required dependencies by running
npm installornpm iin both theclientandserverdirectories. - Create a
.envfile in the root directory ofserverand add the following variables:MONGO_URI: the MongoDB connection stringSECRET: a secret string for JWT authentication
- Create a
.envfile in the root directory ofclientand add the following variable:REACT_APP_BASE_URL: for examplehttp://localhost:5000
- Start the backend server by running
npm start. - Start the frontend by running
npm start.
