# Success = Execution * MarketFit * Appeal
success = (core * polish) * (genre * trend) * (art * social)

Execution (core * polish)

  • Core must be fun first! Polish is how it feels to play.

Market Fit (genre * trend)

  • Genre sets your audience ceiling (3D has the highest reach). Trend means bringing proven ideas or media from Movies, Roblox, or Fortnite over to Steam.

Appeal (art * social)

  • Art stops the scroll. Social is the strongest multiplier: Local Co-op is realistic and Online is high-reward but significantly more difficult.
