About Torrent-Searcher

Torrent Searcher is a Python-based torrent file search utility designed to help users find torrent magnet links across multiple search engines. The tool supports popular engines including ThePirateBay, Kickass Torrent, and Zooqle, with additional engines planned for future support. Users simply enter a search query, browse results aggregated from the supported engines, select their desired torrent, and the corresponding magnet link is automatically copied to the clipboard. The application relies on BeautifulSoup4, Requests, urllib, pyperclip, and lxml as dependencies, and was tested on Windows 10 with Python 3.6. Released under the MIT License by developer Sumanjay in 2018, Torrent Searcher is noted as deprecated, meaning it is no longer actively maintained. Despite its simple command-line interface, it provides a convenient way to search and retrieve torrent magnet links without needing to visit each search engine website individually.

Torrent Searcher

A simple torrent file searcher written in Python.
Tested on Windows 10 (Python 3.6)

Supported Search Engines:

  1. ThePirateBay
  2. Kickass Torrent
  3. Zooqle

  4. .....many more to come!

    Features:

    Very Simple to use, just enter your search query and it will fetch all the results from the search engines, select your desired result and it will copy the Magnet Link of the Torrent in your Clipboard!

As simple as that!
