FramePFX
FramePFX is an open-source, non-linear video editor developed in C using the Avalonia framework for its user interface. Designed for modern 64-bit systems, it supports .NET 8 and C 12 standard. The software features a robust plugin system allowing for API extension, an automation and animation engine, a customizable command and shortcut system, and a flexible rendering pipeline. Users can personalize the appearance with custom themes that can be saved and modified directly within the application, alongside built-in dark and light options. Core functionality includes audio-driven playback models and TimeSpan-based positioning, separating audio timing from video frames. The export process integrates with FFmpeg, providing detailed encoder-specific controls and progress monitoring. While actively under development with a focus on a complete audio engine remake, the current release supports media clip playback and video export when FFmpeg libraries are properly configured.
