MemoryOS
MemoryOS is a memory operating system designed for personalized AI agents, enabling coherent, context-aware, and long-term interactions. Inspired by traditional operating system principles, it employs a hierarchical storage architecture comprising four core modules: Storage, Updating, Retrieval, and Generation. This structure ensures comprehensive and efficient memory management for artificial intelligence. The system achieved state-of-the-art performance on the LoCoMo benchmark, demonstrating average improvements of 49.11% in F1 score and 46.18% in BLEU-1 score compared to existing solutions. Key features include a plug-and-play architecture that allows seamless integration of modular components such as storage engines, update strategies, and retrieval algorithms. It supports universal integration with major large language models, including OpenAI, Deepseek, and Qwen. Additionally, MemoryOS-MCP facilitates easy workflow creation by injecting long-term memory capabilities into various AI applications through
