Wirehome.Core
Wirehome.Core is an open source home automation system written in C targeting .NET Standard 2.0+. It runs on Windows, macOS, and Linux, including devices like the Raspberry Pi. Interaction with physical hardware is abstracted through adapters written in Python using IronPython, covering protocols and interfaces such as GPIO, I2C, MQTT, HTTP, and COAP. The platform includes a fully featured MQTT broker and an HTTP server for hosting user content or device interactions. Automations and custom services are also written in Python. Pre-built components, such as the Open Weather Map integration, can be downloaded from the official Wirehome repository, which also distributes version updates.
