Terraform module designed to generate consistent names and tags for resources by enforcing a strict naming convention. It takes label inputs such as namespace, tenant, environment, stage, name, and attributes, then combines them into a standardized ID using a configurable delimiter, defaulting to the format namespace-environment-stage-name-attributes. Each label is optional provided at least one is supplied, and the order can be customized via the labelorder variable. The additional tenant label was introduced in v0.25.0 and is not included by default to preserve backward compatibility. The attributes input accepts a list of strings that are joined with the delimiter, serving as the primary mechanism to make IDs unique across similar resource types. The module supports a configurable maximum ID length, truncating names and appending a portion of an MD5 hash to preserve uniqueness.
