DataStax C Driver for Apache Cassandra is a modern, feature-rich, and highly tunable client library for Apache Cassandra 2.0 and above. It uses Cassandra's binary protocol and CQL v3, and offers additional support for DataStax Enterprise, including DSEAuthenticator implementations, DSE Graph integration, and geospatial type serializers. Targeting .NET Framework 4.5.2 and .NET Standard 2.0, the driver supports both synchronous and asynchronous APIs, simple, prepared, and batch statements, asynchronous IO, parallel execution, request pipelining, connection pooling, automatic node discovery, reconnection, and configurable load balancing and retry policies.
