ExtratorLattesCNPq is a C tool designed to parse XML curricula from the CNPq Lattes Platform and load the extracted data into a SQL database for querying purposes. Developed as a final undergraduate project in Information Systems at the University of the Joinville Region (Univille), it addresses the need for institutions to analyze the scientific production of their professionals. By collecting and structuring curricular information, the software helps higher education institutions assess their quality, competencies, and capabilities when responding to research project calls and public tenders. The solution provides automated extraction of researcher profiles and academic output, enabling efficient data retrieval and analysis. It is distributed under the GNU GPL v3 license.
