DeepCache
DeepCache is a novel, training-free acceleration method for diffusion models designed to significantly reduce inference time without retraining. By leveraging the U-Net architecture, it reuses high-level features while updating low-level features efficiently, delivering nearly lossless results. The tool supports a wide range of models including Stable Diffusion v1.5, Stable Diffusion XL, Stable Video Diffusion, Text2Video-Zero, DDPM, and various pipelines for inpainting and image-to-image generation. It is compatible with standard sampling algorithms such as DDIM and PLMS. Performance benchmarks indicate substantial speedups, such as 2.3x acceleration for Stable Diffusion v1.5 with minimal quality degradation and up to 4.1x for LDM-4-G. DeepCache is designed as a plug-and-play solution, requiring no code modifications to the underlying diffuser library, and is fully compatible with the Hugging Face Diffusers ecosystem.
