GenHTTP
GenHTTP is a lightweight, modular web server written in pure C with a strong focus on developer experience. It enables quick creation of web services on .NET 8, 9, and 10 without complex configuration files or steep learning curves. Project templates allow developers to set up new web services in minutes via the command line or Visual Studio, supporting use cases like REST web services, websockets, and server-sent events. The server can be embedded into console, service, WPF, WinForms, WinUI, MAUI, Avalonia, or Uno applications. Projects are fully described in code with no configuration files required. GenHTTP supports modern standards including OpenAPI, Websockets, Server Sent Events, and JWT authentication. It optionally integrates Kestrel as an underlying HTTP engine, enabling HTTP/2 and HTTP/3 via QUIC.
