EpubFs
EpubFs is an F library designed for authoring EPUB e-book files. It provides the core functionality needed to construct EPUB packages by accepting metadata, content files, stylesheets, and navigation instructions. The library supports two primary methods for including content: supplying an XmlNode list typically built with the Giraffe.ViewEngine DSL or providing raw XHTML streams. It automatically manages CSS inclusion when using node lists, while allowing manual stylesheet integration for full XHTML documents. Users can either generate a simple table of contents from content file references or supply a custom navigation document adhering to EPUB standards. A significant feature added in version 0.4 is support for EPUB Media Overlays, enabling synchronization of audio narration with text using SMIL files. This allows developers to include audio files in the manifest and define synchronization through various input formats ranging from pre-built SMIL streams to simplified structured nodes.
