TorBox-Media-Server is an automated deployment script designed to create a zero-local-storage, debrid-powered personal streaming server. Utilizing Docker, it integrates the arr suite (Sonarr, Radarr, Prowlarr) with media managers like Plex or Jellyfin and connects them to TorBox via WebDAV. This setup allows users to stream media directly from the cloud without storing any files on local hardware. The software functions by intercepting download requests from automation tools, sending torrent hashes to TorBox where content is either retrieved instantly from cache or downloaded remotely. The system then maps these cloud files as local symlinks, enabling seamless playback across various devices. Key features include single-command installation, automatic dependency management for Docker and FUSE, support for unattended setup via environment variables, and a workflow that mimics a personal Netflix where users curate content while leveraging TorBox infrastructure for instant access.
