nodyx
Nodyx is a self-hosted community platform that combines a forum, real-time chat, voice channels, peer-to-peer communication, a canvas, and a homepage builder into a single application. Licensed under AGPL-3.0, it runs on one server using Fastify, SvelteKit, PostgreSQL, and Rust, giving a community full ownership of its data and infrastructure without depending on third-party services or investor-driven platforms. It includes a widget SDK for extending functionality and customization. The platform is designed for groups that want an alternative to centralized services like Discord for private chat, streaming hubs, discussion forums, and community websites. Instead of stitching together multiple separate tools, administrators deploy one server to host all features, supporting long-term, independent community operation.
