RSTGameTranslation is a free, open-source Windows tool that translates games in real-time using screen capture, OCR, and AI translation. Version 5.2 supports multiple OCR engines including OneOCR, Windows OCR, PaddleOCR, EasyOCR, and RapidOCR, and connects to translation services such as Gemini, Groq, ChatGPT, Google Translate, Ollama, Mistral, and LM Studio. It features game-aware recognition with character name detection, flexible overlay and chat window display modes, text-to-speech with four backends (ElevenLabs, Google Cloud TTS, Windows TTS, and Supertonic for offline use), and speech-to-text for translating in-game audio. Designed for Windows 10 and above with games running in windowed or borderless mode, an NVIDIA GPU is recommended but not required. The app runs as a portable executable with no installation needed for basic use. Hotkeys allow quick area selection, overlay toggling, and translation start. Licensed under BSD.
