Nussknacker is a low-code visual tool that enables domain experts to build, deploy, and monitor real-time decision algorithms without writing code. It provides a graphical designer where users compose scenarios using prebuilt components for routing, filtering, data transformations, time-window aggregations, external data enrichments, and machine learning model integration. The platform supports two processing modes. Streaming mode uses Kafka for input and output data streams, ideal for continuous event processing. Request-response mode exposes HTTP endpoints with OpenAPI definitions for synchronous interactions. Batch processing mode is in active development. Nussknacker targets business analysts and non-technical users who need to act on real-time data for use cases such as personalized offers, marketing campaigns, device maintenance alerts, and fraud detection.
