R2 Web is a lightweight, elegant, browser-based file manager for Cloudflare R2 buckets. It runs entirely in the browser with no backend, directly connecting to the R2 API using credentials stored in localStorage. Users simply configure CORS on their bucket and connect with their R2 credentials to start managing files. Key features include directory browsing with lazy loading and pagination, file operations such as rename, move, copy, and recursive delete, multi-selection for batch actions, drag-and-drop or paste-to-upload with filename templates using hash, date, or UUID placeholders, automatic image compression via WebAssembly, and previews for images, videos, audio, and text files with code highlighting. Links can be copied as direct URLs, Markdown, HTML, or pre-signed URLs. The interface supports simplified/traditional Chinese, English, and Japanese, with dark mode following system preferences, and can be installed as a PWA for a native-like experience.
